I have read two or three anthologies prior to reading this and my experience wasn't the best when it came to liking them. Stories with humdum themes combined with such rushed and not-on-par storytelling and uninteresting characters, I mean they don't seem to provide any reasons which would make me think otherwise. But this one was different. Exploring on some interesting themes and providing a storytelling experience unforeseen in an anthology, at least from which I have read, it has painted a different picture than what I have regarding them.
Each chapter is a manga in and of itself. Every chapter delivers some interesting characters onto
...
the backdrop of the story, which is different each chapter, and you get to feel that you have read a whole manga in that short of a time. Now I am not saying that this is devoid of any flaw, but rather emphasising on the feat which it has achieved, that it manages to tell a complete story in every chapter. There are flaws which may or may not be visible, pacing is not the best, the story may feel like it was not much explored upon, characters may feel a bit superficial and underdeveloped. Art was decent to fine. Not much detailing was taken into factor in the art considering it feels much more monotone when carefully looked upon.
When you give this a good amount of thought, it is certainly not the best manga out there, but there is a teeny "might be" chance that it is the best anthology there is.
