Recommendations

Both manga are of the survival horror genre, which I think there should be more of!

Both are about survival and strange monsters that threaten the characters.

Same author, and he's practically ripping himself off. Instead of "monsters" eating everybody and threatening humanity as in BioMeat, it's rats who are the threat in Region.

World is coming to the end. Group of people trying their hardest to survive. Blood, gore, disgusting monsters. Apocalypse survival at its finest.

One way to view similarities between both mangas: they are both about kids dealing with non-human creatures that want to eat them. Another (more interesting) way to view similarities: both stories are about cattle trying to scape from their respective factories.

Survival horror with overwhelming numbers of enemies, creating a desperate against the odds struggle where cunning is the key, and going in guns blazing will get you killed.

Gyo has a similar main premise: a story about weird creatures that attacks humanity and the survival of the main characters. This time the bad guy are fishes that has legs and started to swarm the city. They began to attack animals and human, and without spoiling the story, it is suffice to say that they continue to evolve in a pretty horrifying way. The pacing is pretty similar, although I think Gyo is a bit on the more gory side.

Survival manga from the same mangaka

They both share the common theme of a desperate struggle against a overwhelming, inhuman enemy.

Blood, gore, horror, strange beings which can eat humans from the inside out. Che graphical style is very similar, but the premise is a different one: BioMeat Nectar focuses on survival in a devasted world against unintelligent beasts, where as Parasyte the main hero fights against intelligent invaders living undercover.
