Fairytales! They both handle the same theme, albeit in different ways, yet the goal is similar enough; to gather/seal every fairytale in a book while fending off enemies. The origin stories of the fairytales differ, but they take a dark spin in both works, while in Dokusai Grimoire, they come to life as characters and have their own distinct personality. The true charming point is the characters and their interactions, as they win you over slowly but surely and you cannot help, but like even some of the unlikable bunch. Well, the two main characters in both manga have a very similar relationship. You have the occasionally slightly suggestive sexy neatfreak demon, forced to loyally serve an antisocial, easily-angered child who lives alone. The demon has to save the day a lot of the time, but sometimes the boy holds his own. So, if you liked the connections made in one, you'll probably have the same feelings about the other. The thing about these manga, though is that there is a big interesting difference. Black Butler is long, but really good and worth the time. Grimoire is not AS  read more
