A wonderful read!
Besides my own minor problems with the art style, it's unique in its own way, and the artist actually changes the style of faces slightly to depict age, despite it only being about 5 years (age 19 from about 24.) That's a new one in the repertoire, I really appreciated it.
Characters are believable, and the mangaka always knows when to apply comedic relief despite any serious occasion, and that really makes the story and develops the personalities of some of the characters.
The story flow also manages the predictability of the story, or should I say, "unpredictability." The reader will never know the
...
final outcome of the story until the actual ending, unlike other shoujo manga that foreshadow heavily due to the unoriginality of the storyline. Which brings me to say that the original storyline also plays part in the unpredictability and expands the enjoyment.
The only flaw(s) I would bother to complain about is toward the end. The story closes nicely and in a timely matter, one just wishes that the the mangaka put a little more effort in (or maybe an additional omake) to show further outcomes of the heroine's actions at the end. Either way, it's fine as is and also leaves room for any possible sequels. (And if you don't understand my problem with it, if you read it completely you'll get it. They disregarded an issue they spoke about the entire time.)
