So a beautiful "rich princess" type transfers to a new school. She hopes to find her prince, and finds a princely type and a sporty/goofy/friendly type, and as much as she thinks she wants the princely type, she has been forced into a betrothal with the friendly type boy. Overall, the story kept my interest because it was just one big ride of humor mixed in with some romance.
Based on that, I should address that all characters tend to be tropes. You got the rich princess heroine, the friendly goof love interest, the princely alternate "love interest," the girl that won't give up, and the
...
friends that support you through it all. The characters are mostly all outspoken, loud, crazy, and exaggerated if you enjoy the satire of it all, so this is not the serious romance manga you're looking for.
It was a pretty good read. Short and sweet, and should be read as mostly comedy, making fun of the tropes to be enjoyed. The littlest things become aspects of humor, and there's rarely a moment's rest for the characters, or the reader. It can be tiring if one isn't used to constant loud, screaming plot progression from very open, outspoken characters like myself, but it swas still enjoyable.

You might not think that such a large, awkward age gap manga isn't for you just like I did, but I think you'd like to know that I was sorely mistaken. It's about two people forced into a marriage, one with stronger feelings about it all than the other, and how their very different background and personalities work together and make their new life together work.
The fact that Fuuma is ten is always in the back of my mind, but the fact that by halfway through this manga the reader tends to push that aside and focus on the character development and story tells me
...
that the plot did its job and its focus is the dynamics of a relationship of opposites.
That isn't to say that the gap isn't addressed. But the point is that Fuuma and Satoko and any feelings they have for each other and how the other reacts and how things happen would work out similarly in any other shoujo manga. Fuuma has moments where he realizes that despite his mental age, his physical age inhibits him at times, but they reflect on his mindset and who he is as a person rather than his age. Anyone who has read a "tall girl, short guy" manga trope will find similar problems. Age ends up being a minor obstacle in the grand scheme of things, but is shown throughout kind of as a distraction for the character building.
That being said:
I have minor issues with ART. There's a lot of dramatic expression drawing with chin-absorbing mouths and no noses and orbs and rivers for tears when I would have preferred it more seriously drawn. Satoko expresses things differently than your average heroine due to her droopy eyes. It takes a bit to get used to, but they help with her personality to contrast Fuuma's upward slanted eyes and his sharp features to show just how different these two are and how much they need to work together and overcome.
CHARACTER is fine. Fuuma is the most developed, mentally and backstory. Some side characters are more mentally developed, others, their backstory. Satoko, is a mostly mental/emotionally developed character, so a lot of backstory is desired on her end and some supposedly "major" side characters get hardly anything. It didn't keep me from rating this story a 10 though.

A wonderful read!
Besides my own minor problems with the art style, it's unique in its own way, and the artist actually changes the style of faces slightly to depict age, despite it only being about 5 years (age 19 from about 24.) That's a new one in the repertoire, I really appreciated it.
Characters are believable, and the mangaka always knows when to apply comedic relief despite any serious occasion, and that really makes the story and develops the personalities of some of the characters.
The story flow also manages the predictability of the story, or should I say, "unpredictability." The reader will never know the
...
final outcome of the story until the actual ending, unlike other shoujo manga that foreshadow heavily due to the unoriginality of the storyline. Which brings me to say that the original storyline also plays part in the unpredictability and expands the enjoyment.
The only flaw(s) I would bother to complain about is toward the end. The story closes nicely and in a timely matter, one just wishes that the the mangaka put a little more effort in (or maybe an additional omake) to show further outcomes of the heroine's actions at the end. Either way, it's fine as is and also leaves room for any possible sequels. (And if you don't understand my problem with it, if you read it completely you'll get it. They disregarded an issue they spoke about the entire time.)

If you're looking for a serious romance, keep looking.
I expected a serious and predictable story from the start, but was taken for surprise when it was far from it, so if you're up for twists, this is your story.
The art is enjoyable and appropriate for most scenes, and the storyline is pure comedy with some disturbing implications. The story doesn't revolve around romance, for the most part, but intertwines the basics of attraction and lust with comedy and other interesting elements the mangaka has come up with.
The characters are a pleasant jumble too, giving you mixed feelings for everyone. Everyone has a major flaw that
...
makes you dislike them, yet root for them when their at their highest for some strange reason.
Very entertaining, but I wouldn't qualify it as your everyday shoujo, if shoujo at all. It's very mature and sometimes it's even mocking so choose to read this with caution.

I have mixed feelings about this.
The art is absolutely wonderful. It reminds me of other artists at some points, yet has it's own original and unique style. Some characters' appearances, however, can be quite confusing for those who don't pay attention.
The character personalities, however, are well done for those who are brought into depth. The villain believable, blinded by his goals to remember other things. The heroine is strong and confidant, and the leading male is comedic relief with a deeper, darker side. The other characters are just made out to look cool and don't seem to have much of a purpose in the
...
story whatsoever.
Despite these slight problems, I enjoyed the story throughout the beginning and middle. It had twists and depth, but there is one thing that bothers me, and leads to the entire manga's downfall: The ending.
I won't spoil the ending, but I am one of many readers who are far beyond disappointed. It's ended abruptly and horribly, with no sense of reason besides the fact that the mangaka grew lazy and came up with a finale that dropped all of the series' potential. It leaves several important questions unanswered (such as why a certain event did not occur if it was clearly stated it should have happened) and the other outcomes unknown (one character is completely forgotten and never mentioned again as soon as the final battle begins, when they are the main reason the whole battle is occurring anyway!)
I'll tell potential readers this who dare to read this far: There is no happily ever after or romance if you're looking for that sort of thing. It's a tragic story with supernatural elements. The entire story was brought to a premature ending, and it's quite clear that lazyness had taken its toll on the creator. The last chapter finally tells the tale of friendship at its strongest, only for the final pages to tear it all way and wonder why it was ended in such a way.
