Both are very melodramatic and balance action, romance, and drama. Magically strong protags and love interests dealing with supernatural groups and orders abound in both.

They are both fantasy mangas from the same mangaka about supernatural creatures connected to ancient myths. Both have some action, romance and highschool girls suddenly facing changes in their body.

The main character (guy) in Ao no Fuuin has a main objective, and it is to kill the main character (girl). However, he fell in love with her and so did she. In Tokyo Juliet the main character (girl) aims to surpass the guy who stole her design. And she ended up falling in love with that guy's son. Of course, the guy also fell for her.
