A few recommendation's for you, but since I really don't what you're exactly into, I'll just give you these:

1. Clannad ~2nd season is the best and is slow-ish anime; start's off as a harem but it's a really sad story.

2.Steins;Gate ~Slow beginning but is very suspenseful and epic; story revolves around time travel and event's in real life such as John Titor.

3.Angelbeats ~Another sad anime but also with action and just plain coolness. Unlike other anime, this actually takes place in the afterlife!

4.AnoHana ~Super sad story of a group of friend's losing a fellow friend. ;_; SO SAD!

So, yeah, these are some of my favorites so PLEASE TRY THEM!!!

Oh, you actually have Hiyokoi in your favorites. So I take that your manga list isn't fully updated?

I don't know about anime since the shoujo ones I've watched, I kind of disliked, but about manga:
Hajimari no Niina and Hiyokoi have very heart-warming stories, the later have an anime OVA, so you can actually try it. Orange is good, though a bit more dramatic.
Try these, if you like them, you can always come and ask for more.

You seem to like shoujo, so you might like Hirunaka no Ryuusei. I like it a lot, the main girl is quite funny and so far is pretty decent. You can also try Taiyou no Ie, I don't like it as much, but I kind dig the artwork.
