So far I've only read up to ch 16 and honestly, it's annoying. It's the typical shoujo of 3 hot bishies going after the stupid heroine that only thinks "what should I do?".
Some people say that Yura acts that way because she's in her teens and has no self-confidence, so of course she would be confused..Well, I've never ever met a teenager like that. They might do or say stupid things, I agree with that, but there's a limit to how much of an idiot you can be.
As for the story and art..Story is waaay far from being original, while art is ok..not my favorite

I was recommended to read this as I’m a Skip Beat! fan and this manga also focuses on becoming a star, proving oneself and mingling with romance. But Honey Hunt also has its own unique charming points without the need of demons!
This manga is one of my favourites out there. Although the story at first glance is about a girl and 2 guys and the entertainment world there are many other deeper aspects involved which can appeal to a wider audience than the typical romantics. Yura is a normal girl born from superstar parents but her life is anything but amazing as people think. ... Apr 19, 2011
Simple yet complicated.
Yaru was living proof that the grass isn’t always greener on the other side. Living in the shadow of famous composer father and top actress mother is never easy. Being alone most of the time due to her parents fame and abandonment left her feeling isolated. Even in school she‘s just known by her parents reputation- she just doesn’t fit in. Things take a turn for the worst when Yaru’s mom announces her divorce from her dad and asks Yaru to move out on her own. Her already cloudy and lonely world just got worse when she witnesses something that will set ... Jul 23, 2009
This is an annoying story. I can't stand the main characters, very cliche, very unrealistic. Not that I really mind unrealistic stories... but the story seems like it's supposed to be a slice-of-life type, but it's really too far fetched. The plot really doesn't seem to go anywhere.
I stopped reading this story for now. I might go back to it when in a couple months when more has been scanlated. I hope it gets better, it seemed like it had potential at first. For now it's too much of a chore to read. Mar 23, 2013
So I'm bored, and I'm really bored and I want a new manga to read. And then I find this, which seemed to have pretty decent reviews but man, they do total injustice to this series. I can say this is one of THE most crappiest of mangas I've ever read.
To make this as short as possible, I was first intrigued by this story because it was similar to Skip Beat, and I love Skip Beat. They are, however, on completely different levels. Girl wants to join entertainment industry for revenge. Heh. Unlike Skip beat, the main girl is absolutely pathetic. She's weak, has ... Mar 18, 2014
This story has/had so much potential. I would absolutely love to give it a higher rating if the mangaka so chose to finish it, but that's not the case. If you hate cliffhangers, don't even think about touching this manga.
Even though the story had me pulling my hair out by the roots multiple times, I thought the story was very realistic and I liked that it did not sugar-coat some elements. While the elements used are considered perhaps crude in real life, they are certainly things that take place in reality regardless. The characters: ARRRRRGH This is where I pull out my hair. The main character ... May 3, 2014
After I had read all the available chapters of Skip Beat! and craved for some more shoujo manga, I found Honey Hunt.
The setting is the showbizz world, with an emphasis on the acting business. I find the plot pretty OK and logical. The villain is Yura's mom; I think this is the first time I came across a villain I genuinely despised... She has the whole world fooled into thinking she's the best parent on the planet and loves Yura, when in fact she doesn't care in the least. And on top of that, she sleeps with her daughter's best/only friend while knowing Yura ... Apr 27, 2009
If you like a romance on a long run then this will probably be your type of manga
It centers around a girl with both parents being famous and not paying her any attention, her live goes a bit beserk and she falls in love with a famuos singer who apparently also likes her, She decides to become a movie star and show that she is better that her mother (who she dosen't like at all) Personally i enjoy this manga, and if you have read SKIP beat or BEUTY pop you will enjoy this serie Also some other Romance series which are good are Tona-Gura, Umi No ... At first I absolutely loved it! The character was relatable, I am obsessed with ikemen and showbiz so it was a win win situation for me! Then the main character started to change. I now dislike her, and honestly its kind of hard to read. She has become kind of horrible choosing a guy over family. Making these horrible choices that no normal person would even think about. I like the story, and recommend it to people who are looking for a shojou manga about Showbiz, but if you can't handle a main character who is a little bit dislikable then this may not be

Honey Hunt is a typical shoujo manga about an indecisive girl being sought after by a few guys but thing is, I don't mind these types of manga usually. I actually like the clicheness of many such manga and particularly enjoy them when I'm in the mood for something sweet and cute but this is not the case for Honey Hunt.
I'm going to talk about the features of this manga from the best to the worst. Art: 6/10 The art in this manga is pretty good, it's not the best out there but it's not so bad that you can't take the characters seriously. It's a simple ... Oct 26, 2009
I've read some of this on line and I think that it's absolutely amazing. The story is something that SOMEONE can relate to. I mean, yea, you'd be pretty lucky to have a mom as an actress and a dad as a pianist but your parents don;t have to have that exact job just to be going through something totally similar.
The art is alright sometimes the characters' expreddions don;t really match the mood, but thats only once in a few pages that, that happens. Other than that, its pretty good. Its character idn't really all that original, but it's still ... Nov 9, 2011
Shoujo Manga. Manga written for the reading pleasure of the female population of the world. Honey Hunt is typical shoujo. It gets the reader excited and makes their heart flutter in certain parts. It makes the reader wish that she were the female protagonist. It involves a lot of romance, in this case, the female protagonist is surrounded by three capable and very good looking men who want her. The good thing about the story which is why I gave it an 8 is that it has interesting characters. I liked how the antagonist is actually the female protagonist's mother, it's complex in a way that

When I first finished this manga, I rated it a 6 out of anger towards the trash and unsatisfying ending it gave me. Now that I've had some time to think about it I rate it a 7 since honestly the story itself and the characters are pretty interesting and well developed. As I read it on an online manga website, I was able to see the views of other readers and how they believed the MC is stupid and annoying. Personally I just believed she acted as an insecure teenager engulfed in her love life. She quickly joined the acting world in order to
