i thought the 2 stories were similar because of the main male characters, leo and akumi are really similar in many ways, they even looked like eachother sometimes.. anyhoo both are really nice short stories, and worth to be read ^^

both manga are about a transfer student that meets the head council's student and being asked to join the council students , which is full of weird students

Both shoujo romances are quite short, concentrating on a "manly" female protagonist who are looking for their first boyfriends.

In both the main girl wants to change in order to get a boyfriend. XD

They are not very similar.. but they are both stories about some strange student council president and its assistants. :) And both are in comedy and school manga genres.

Both are relatively short mangas about strong and tough girls who have a complex about not being "girly". Both mc hide their manliness and strength at school and dream of being "normal" girls. In both stories they get found out by the main male character which in the end becomes their romantic interest. Both end up accepting themselves and their "ungirlyness" in the end, thanks also to the male lead liking them for who they are. Matsuri Special is longer and more developed, while Otokomae! it's more of a fun short read, but both are enjoyable and have good art.

Both heroins are very storng and want to make a new beginning at a new school and to find love. Beads Club is also shorter than Obaka-chan. Both good reads :D

Both guys in the story are perverted, but the girls end up falling in love with them!

Both include a female entering a new school and hearing rumours about a notoriously weird group of people... The female lead ends up becoming part of a club organised by this group of people only to find out the rumours about them aren't exactly true...
reportRecommended by Foraii
At the beginning of the manga, the female vows to change a factor in her life after she enters high school. However, she is approached by members of a group of people who are notorious for their strange behaviour...
reportRecommended by Foraii
Both are set in a school, where a group of people are admired by the majority of the school's pupils. The females leads become somehow involved with these people.

Amost same character stereotypes, where paradise kiss has more serious relationship issues and personal lessons. If you liked this you'll LOVE paradise kiss.

Both stories involve a club that is the Student council. Otokamae is more layed back and has a school romance feel Shinshi is more dark and twisted

Both amazing manga verging on the same storyline and definitely the same exciting atmosphere. Yes for great shoujo with hot hot bishies!!!

In moe kare one of the guys are perverted like the president in otokomae. They fall in love with the girl. Both girls in the story think the guy is perverted, but end up falling in love with them!
reportRecommended by animefreak8889
Girls are strong in different ways and Boys are in love with the girls from the beginning to end of story!
reportRecommended by animefreak8889
Well..they are quite similar to each other because they are both shoujo manga. And in addition Seishun Survival contains Otokomae! Beads Club side story (Never Dying Crow…!) which is as for me the best short story in Seishun... and a great supplement for those who loved Otokomae! Beads Club and felt insufficienty.
