When I first saw this, immediately thought, Cyber Idol Mink - Hatusne Miku;; Besides that Cyber Idol Mink are kind of like real people and stuff. They both go through a CD that makes them become a singer. You have to read both of them to get what i'm thinking of.

Both have Hatsune Miku as the main character and both share references to her music and are standalone stories so you can start at anywhere if you wanna read the manga.

Both are music themed stories with a ya cast and a very sleek artstyle.

Unofficial Hatsune Mix and Fairy Idol Kanon are both manga with a large focus on music and a female protagonist's passion and talents for singing. While Unofficial Hatsune Mix is an anthology of stories and Fairy Idol Kanon is a story with a main narrative, they both provide a couple of comedic scenes.

They don't really have much in common, except they are both based off of Vocaloid. Aku no Meshitsukai is based off of Mothy's song Daughter of Evil by Rin Kagome.

They both reminded me of each other because they are laidback, cute, sometimes silly(More in Yotsubato!'s case), and have memorable characters.

Both are Idol/Singer manga. Hatsune Mix also has a 'Mermaid' chapter that is simular to Pichi :)

Both have Music etc..Many other similarities^^

Both star Miku Hatsune. Both have short but quaint story lines. If you're a Miku fan both of these are worth a look.
