Orange & Rec: Kimi ga Naiti Hi both portray the romance & tragedy genres wonderfully. Their stories are very touching, as well as mysterious. In Orange, the main character receives a letter from her future self telling her to fix her regrets regarding a close friend. R:KgNH, on the other hand, has a female protagonist who makes friends with a celebrity holding a secret. Both of their tones are deep & bittersweet, and the characters & artwork really connect with the reader.

Both manga have drama, romance, and tragedy. Regarding the stories themselves, nice character development, beautiful artwork, and wonderful plots are present in each. Because they both have misunderstood characters and a character that wishes that they could live longer, the heart-wrenching atmospheres are also similar. The only difference would be that Rec - Kimi ga Naita Hi is shoujo, whereas Watashitachi no Shiawase na Jikan is more seinen/josei. Although WnSnJ is more unique and more favored, I think that fans of one will like the other. I believe that anyone, any age will find these 1-volume manga enjoyable.

Both of them are really beautiful and sad love stories with tragedy and tears. The one, who shed tears is the reader though.
