My very first review; I mainly want to write this simply because Donyatsu (at least the manga) doesn't have any reviews here, and I think it deserves one very warmly.

If you're looking for a decidedly weird, vaguely apocalyptic series about ridiculously adorable food-animals, you've come to the right place.
STORY: 8 There's a deep sense of mystery with this one, and it's pure wacky. It's very unique, and it manages to simultaneously stay serious, yet still be comedic, which is a fun balance achieved surprisingly well. ART: 7 The blend of adorable food-animals and decidedly creepy apocalyptic abandoned cityscapes is a fun one, but overall there's nothing overly spectacular, nor bad, about the art. It just serves it's purpose to set the scene, and not a lot else. ... |
