Both of these comedy serialisations, which transpire in a school context, revolve around innocent guys who have delinquent friends.

Both of these titles revolve around rational male protagonists who end up being subjected to the most irrational of situations through the eccentric characters they meet.

Two comedy series that share a gangster theme within a school context.

both are very funny schoolmangas the only different are the characters: in school rumble they have a "kawaii"-factor and in CHS the charas looks more like gorillas (even a real gorilla appears!) but for those people who love school-comedies: a "must-see"

Both series feature really funny punchlines. Expect random but creative narrative structuring.

Both titles situate male androids within a school setting with the intent to use them for their comedic value. Do note however that this suggestation mainly applies to Kyuukyouku Choukin R in which the android is the main character.

If Freddie & Mechazawa had a child, that kid would be Roboko, melting down what made Cromartie so enjoyable & reforging it into a robot with knees that look like Nappa's

Although featuring different aesthetics (one is primarily a comedy, whereas the other is more action-oriented), the narratives of both titles are contextualised within delinquent schools.

The two are essentially gag mangas known for their rather short stories and quick laughs.

If you enjoy the energy-filled punchlines of Gintama, then you'll enjoy Cromartie High School. Both series feature distinct characters and plotlines so random that it defamiliarises the familiar in humourous ways.
