For some people, it's impossible to imagine a situation in which they would take another life. For others, they might be able to list a price, but without being in the situation, there's no way to be sure if they could do it. In death games, participants find their price: it's usually a large sum of money and, of course, their own life. Some manga that can make you distrust anyone's intentions, because you'll get trust issues if you do take it on face value. No Sports manga(Kuroko, RXL etc) Part 2: https://myanimelist.net/stacks/6277 aka "don't let your kid read this alone" manga, or "why the F is this Shounen?" manga. The Masked Man is an American YouTuber who makes videos primarily about manga, but also anime, and very occasionally video games. He does in-depth analysis on the subjects he talks about. Just decided to make a list of manga about death games, I find them to be very amusing. - I would have added all of Junji Ito's work but it would fill the entire stack so I only added a few~ All genres included, as long as it's an isekai. Most of them are slice of life, comedy, romance, or drama, though. Includes tropes like villainess/villain or overpowered MC. All manga have an overall rating of 6 or higher (from me). Japan has had quite a fascination with Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland novels, such that allusions to the work, its characters and plot, appear in various anime & manga series time and again. This stack collects series that are quite overtly based on the work. Quite a few are based on Quinrose's Alice-inspired visual novels. While it might look like you don't really need to know all of this, you never know when it will be useful: for instance with quizzes, random questions that you wouldn't know the answer to otherwise, fun facts to tell someone else, or if there's trouble or necessity of intervention in your vicinity. |
