I find Kilka's and Goku's histories and personalities to be very similar, (hyperactive, called "dog" or "monkey" and loyal to people who only meant to set them free). If you're a fan either character I think you'll like the other too. 

Both are short shounens (Stray is a one-shot) concerning chimera research. In both, a man takes care of a chimera child. 

Both are rather dark one-shot manga's set during an older year era during war, that has twists in them that one may or may not expect, but make both stories rememberable.  

Both are works by Arakawa Hiromu, and both tend to play around with pre-existing concepts and notions.
