*No spoilers, and this is my first review so please bear with my inexperienced writing
"Aoi" Hikaru ga Chikyuu has a great plot but the story is very common. Most of the typical anime and manga tropes are present in the story, characters, and development. There are also questionable or unexplained things in this work. Nonetheless, I truly enjoyed reading this especially the ending from the bottom of my heart. I do not regret reading this, and in fact I am very happy to have read this. And I recommend this to anyone who wants to simply quickly enjoy, be entertained in a lot of ways,

Don't start reading this.
I think this caught a lot of people's eyes due to its first character placing it at the top alphabetically. I didn't notice, at first, that it was written by the same author as Bungaku shoujo, and it certainly has the same basic structure. The plot is a mix between romantic comedy, drama and mystery. You'll soon learn that characters are emotionally affected by a mystery and the plot revolve around resolving that mystery. I won't spoil much, because there isn't much to spoil. Impression: I love this manga too much that I end up finishing the 10-volume light novel later in only 2 days just to find out the story and its ending. The story itself gives a vibe of Anohana, yet the difference is that Hikaru is a beautiful yet male ghost who need Akagi to help with his fiance Aoi. It contains tragedy that makes me sad when I read and comedy dialogue between those two to make me smile like an idiot. Yet, the main theme of this manga is "How did Hikaru die?"
