Futari Ecchi is to "normal" sex as Nana to Kaoru is to BDSM. Essentially both series are geared towards educating their readers of their premise.

Both of these romcom series center around a dumb couple trying to figure out sex.

Both deal with the relationship between sex, romance, and love; both focus on how the problems of young couples can affect their sex lives (and vice versa); both maintain a light, romantic tone, even while discussing serious issues. Both are borderline-H manga.

Both are hilarious about exploring the concept of love

Same author, both series' characters make cameo appearance in each other. Futari Ecchi, as the name might suggest, focuses a lot more on the sex aspect with a lot of "useful" knowledges - it's like wikipedia for sex. Love Lucky focuses on human relationship, but FE does not lack in that category either. Both series have great comedic moments and of course, great art and great sex.

Comedy ecchi titles that prominently features a housewife. Do note however that Futari Ecchi is more geared towards ecchi (as it showcases sex scenes), and that Oku-san is more of a slice-of-life comedy.

Follows the life of a newly wed couple with particular focus on the sexual aspects of their relationship.

Both these two ecchi titles attempt to educate readers regarding sex-related themes. In Futuari Ecchi, it is primarily about sexual intercourse and marriage. Hoken no Sensei, on the other hand, focuses more on the development of young girls.

The exploration of sex, profoundly in the eyes of the main characters, is a similar premise shared by both series. Do note however that Futari Ecchi has a comedic tone, whereas Chisa x Pon has a more dramatic focus.
