Forbidden Dance is a good comic for those who liked Princess Tutu for the ballet aspect, but want a more realistic shoujo about the actual hobby of dancing. The characters are older, so the changing relationships are also more mature, as well as the seriousness about ballet and dance. It's also a nice change from shoujo manga that are 24/7 drama over love and romance, because the most important thing in these characters' lives is their hobby, not true love. Both works are about the love for dancing and the being on stage, with the getting in the same dance team with a dancer( of the opposite gender ) they respect want to dance with.  

Both works have a realistic approach for showing struggles with artists, depicting similar topics and themes, even thought Tenshi no Kiss is quite shorter.

Well... The similarities between these consist in the fact that both are about ballet, really good shoujo stories, and very realistic.
