Forbidden Dance is a good comic for those who liked Princess Tutu for the ballet aspect, but want a more realistic shoujo about the actual hobby of dancing. The characters are older, so the changing relationships are also more mature, as well as the seriousness about ballet and dance. It's also a nice change from shoujo manga that are 24/7 drama over love and romance, because the most important thing in these characters' lives is their hobby, not true love.

Both series deal with ballet, and overlap in that respect. "Tenshi no Kiss" is more mature in art and themes, while "Princess Tutu" is much more youthful in art and how their themes are displayed.
