I'm giving it just a 7 with heartache. The first volume was great to read. The characters are cool, the plot is awesome too, and there was a LOT to build on. But the second volume was kinda messy.

It was SO confusing. A lot of things were put undeveloped and were weird. I like the manga because this story has a LOT of potential. I firmly belive that if there were more volumes or just chapters desenvolving the whole plot AND the charatcers, this would be a really great manga.

But, it still a sweet story. The relationship between the two main characters is ... very sweet, with the kinda enemies to lovers thing. The end was really cute and the art is amazing!

This is such a treat! It has a bit of a lul in the middle, but the beginning and end are just fire and none of it is bad. Most of it is just great. The characters are immediately readable. The paneling is incredible. The easy that it conveys emotions is so evocative that it feels animated. The love story is short and somewhat minimal, but it has perfect ingredients.

The manga has trade-offs, don't get me wrong. It's kind of hard to even describe the good aspects without alluding to the lesser ones. It's just that the way it all comes together cut directly in ... my aesthetic favor every single time. I love domineering girls falling in love with passive, emotional girls. I love band stories where the central thrust of the story isn't whether or not they'll break up (although that is a theme here). I love stories where the main couple doesn't waste a lot of time before revealing their feelings to one another. I love stories where their emotions are conveyed to us artistically, first-and-foremost. If this sounds like a manga you would enjoy, I implore you to give it a shot.

I'm conflicted on this one because the story is obviously very rushed and short but the small amount there is is so touching and wonderful and charming. I really wish there was more, but it's excellent for what it is. And man, the relationship between Seira and Kaname really does something to me, even if I'm not sure why. Maybe it's that young love complicated aspect or the angsty bits, but I can't stop thinking about them. There really is something special here, even if it isn't fully formed, but the fact that it isn't fully formed really bums me out, because there is so ... so so much potential here.

this is a yuri for the girls, insofar as it features the girl you had a codependent homoerotic friendship with during your school days so if you're nostalgic this is the manga for you
its non-linearity works to its advantage seeing how minimalist it was in terms of storytelling (needless to say) pacing was terribly slow, would have been better if the author knew how to drive the narrative through the characters earlier
the final chapter is when you see it finally pick up, both in terms of characterization and paneling especially with regards to the relationship dynamic of seira and kaname
