Synopsis

A yuri comedy series about an all-female rock band.

Kaname likes playing her guitar and singing by the streets and can't believe her ears when a strange girl who's actually a music producer suddenly offers her a contract for a debut CD. However she tells Kaname that her voice is completely worthless and that she'll have to debut within a band and just be the guitarist. I'm conflicted on this one because the story is obviously very rushed and short but the small amount there is is so touching and wonderful and charming. I really wish there was more, but it's excellent for what it is. And man, the relationship between Seira and Kaname really does something to me, even if I'm not sure why. Maybe it's that young love complicated aspect or the angsty bits, but I can't stop thinking about them. There really is something special here, even if it isn't fully formed, but the fact that it isn't fully formed really bums me out, because there is so ...

I'm giving it just a 7 with heartache. The first volume was great to read. The characters are cool, the plot is awesome too, and there was a LOT to build on. But the second volume was kinda messy.

It was SO confusing. A lot of things were put undeveloped and were weird. I like the manga because this story has a LOT of potential. I firmly belive that if there were more volumes or just chapters desenvolving the whole plot AND the charatcers, this would be a really great manga.

Mixed Feelings

this is a yuri for the girls, insofar as it features the girl you had a codependent homoerotic friendship with during your school days so if you're nostalgic this is the manga for you
its non-linearity works to its advantage seeing how minimalist it was in terms of storytelling (needless to say) pacing was terribly slow, would have been better if the author knew how to drive the narrative through the characters earlier
the final chapter is when you see it finally pick up, both in terms of characterization and paneling especially with regards to the relationship dynamic of seira and kaname
