Both oneshots are fairy-tales retold with dark twists. 

Both are shoujo manga based on famous fairy tales (Cinderella/1001 Nights) and retells them in their own way. While 12-ji na Kane ga Naru is more horror, Adele to Darius is more shoujo. 

The oneshot 'Covered in Cinders' is similar to the oneshot 12-ji no Kane ga Naru as they both cover the idea of the fairy tale Cinderella, but different from how most people view it; a darker version. Both girls are servants, who, soon turn into a lovely girl with the help of something (dead mother in Covered in Cinders, witch in 12-ji no Kane ga Naru). (A) Person (People) faces retribution in the end for their greediness. If you enjoy dark tales and have already read one and wanted more, then these mangas may be enjoyable to you.  

Both are comedy manga that takes well-known stories (Cinderella/Red Riding Hood) and retells the in different point of view. While 12-ji no Kane ga Naru is more horror, Akazukin Eliza is more ecchi. 

Both are fantasy manga that takes well-known stories (The Little Mermaid/Bluebeard) and retells the in different sight of view. 12-ji no Kane ga Naru is more horror and shoujo while The Little Mermaid is yuri. 

Both stories contain fairy-tales that end in ways you wouldn't expect...
