Hybrid Child are dolls created and grow by the love of the owner. The dolls learn to feel and act according to their own will. The story behind the creation of Hybrid Child is related to the doll maker past. Ze is similar in that sense whereby in Ze, there are Kami-sama (human like dolls created from paper) created by the puppet master who will protect the owner at any cause. Kami-sama has emotions and will of their own. The creation of Kami-sama also plays a part in the past of the puppet master. Hybrid Child is darker than Ze but even so, Ze has  read more

Both mangas are about human looking dolls that feed on their masters love. Both leave a bittersweet aftertaste.

The storyline is somewhat similar to Hybrid Child. Highly recommended.

The only similar part is the art hahaha. Oops. Since they're by the same author. So I guess that since you enjoyed one manga you will enjoy the other. I really like Sekaiichi Hatsukoi and for Hybrid child, is much more sad. But overall, both are good.

This is also a BL, although more explicit than Hybrid Child. The story reminds me of Kuroda and Tsukishima's story a lot, with them going through a lot before being together and well... anymore of this will be a spoiler so read it for yourself to find out.

I'm surprised nobody has made this recommendation yet, because the underlying theme of both these BL manga is essentially the same - doll makers creating custom made dolls that serve their masters dutifully, come what may.

Doll makers who fall in love with their own creations.

If you're into gay androids but Kawaigatte Kudasai didn't have enough romance and character back story for your liking? Hybrid Child concentrates on the romantic relationship rather than the smut, while also introducing some cute shotas. If you're into gay androids but Hybrid Child wasn't sexy enough for you, than take a look at Kawaigatte Kudasai. Instead of focusing on the romance between the characters, this oneshot concentrates on the sexual realtionships. (Includes shotacon)

Both are yaoi, and both have human like dolls/androids that love their master

both dealing with robot

Living androids with feelings are now the "in" thing. Both Etowa and Hybrid Child includes this to their story, with the actual human thinking if it's okay, since they [the androids] shouldn't be feeling emotions in the first place. Although Etowa brings a lighter story, Hybrid Child still contains a good one. Oh, both contain yaoi, too.

Both works have dolls, who were created as the resemblance of somene dear to the creator.

Memorable stories and characters, Eeerie Queerie are the most hilarous mangas I have ever read, but compare Hybrid Child and them because they are so sweet also. Great reads!

both play on the theme of loving robots

the anthology and the single story are both about recreating lost loved ones or missing love.

Hybrid Child could pretty much be the BL version of Chobits. Both involve characters that aren't humans as love interests to the main lead. The plot is kind of similar, but Hybrid Child is tragic while Chobits it a little bit darker than your usual romance.

Both have similar feeling, they are about the emotions of non human beings (robot/dolls) and the tragic love in it. It's very notable this similitude in the last couple from Hybrid Child: tragic love and a heartwarming feeling.
