I've always been a big fan of the Crash Bandicoot franchise, that's where the Crash in my name comes from, and so when I found out that there was a short manga based on the franchise I had to read it immediately. I didn't went into it with big expectations, things like this are generally decent at best, but even then this manga managed to disapoint.

The Crash Bandicoot games are near and dear to me. Everytime I play them, it's always a good time. However, I can't say the same for the manga adaptation.
Although it was created in the US, it's no secret that Crash was a very successful game series in Japan. So much, that a manga based on it didn't seem too far fetched. Although the concept could've worked, it just wasn't executed well. The manga adapts the story of Crash Bandicoot 2. I love the Crash Bandicoot game series, nothing about it. When I saw that this material existed, I started reading it without hesitation and read it during breaks at work. So I liked all the chapters and it was a nice relief for me. It's not serious, it's not complicated, it's just a free read to relieve my mind. Which I understand that many people may not like. If you approach it as a lighter parody, you don't have to be disappointed. Maybe I'm a weak-minded person, but I found some moments funny.
