Anthologies by non-mainstream mangaka that collect some of their experimental manga works. Both the plots and the presentation is highly non-traditional and aims at mature reader as it contains a lot of explicit imaginery, so much that non-experienced reader could get really disgusted. Behind those images is an interesting point though. 

Reminiscent in their approach to manga, but with very different tones. Palepoli is also much more accessible. 

Both of these are experimental works that play around with paneling and page composition. Both have explicit content. 

Collections of grotesque and explicit short stories, pushing the limit of what is acceptable to draw, with extremes both for sexual and graphic content. Eroguro not for the faint of heart. 

Okay, I'm sure that those of you who have read both of these manga are confused by seeing them recommended to each other, but hear me out, I do have an explanation. It's panelling. The work with manga panels. Tezuka is know for his experimental work with layout (well technically he's a pioneer of the manga format as a whole), and Hi no Tori is one of the examples that showcase the occasional breaking of the usual panel format for more visually interesting layout. Kago Shintaro is too recognizable for experimenting with the whole manga format and taking it on much higher level. Abstraction and Multiplication (which are part of the Kasutoro Shiki anthology are good examples of his experimental panel layout. read more 

Collection of fucked up and explicit guro horror stories. For readers with strong stomach only. 

Both are messed up stuff by Kago Shintarou; stories Abstraction and An Inquiry... deal with the harshness of abortion and childbearing.
