The Kodansha Manga Award (講談社漫画賞, Kōdansha Manga Shō) is an annual award for serialized manga published in the previous year, the event is sponsored by the publisher Kodansha. Number of sales and date that number was acquired from in notes for each. Some of them I have personally estimated a higher figure than the date says. No. 11 is Senri no Michi mo by Ippo Ohara & Satoshi Watanabe, which started in 1989 and ended in 2022 with 134 volumes & 693 chapters in Weekly Golf Digest. No gimmicks, no throwing bombs on skateboards, no soccer prison, no baseball gambling, just real people doing real sports. naoki urasawa's wonderful documentary program manben shows mangaka at work while they discuss their form and process with urasawa-sensei. this list includes one noteworthy series by each mangaka featured on the show. While it might look like you don't really need to know all of this, you never know when it will be useful: for instance with quizzes, random questions that you wouldn't know the answer to otherwise, fun facts to tell someone else, or if there's trouble or necessity of intervention in your vicinity. Mangas currently being published in Weekly Shounen Champion magazine from the publisher Akita Shoten If it’s a sports manga or webtoon, it’s in this. Doesn’t matter if it’s yaoi, got a romance plot line, or is just heavily sports related, I’ve got it here. Hopefully, you guys will find something you haven’t read on here. Enjoy! (Still working on writing all of the explanations) Manga/Manhwa/Manhua with main characters that either have autism or are characters that could be autistic. Autistic coded characters that aren’t specifically expressed as autistic in the series count as well. Obviously, there are manga that don’t go in depth about autism as that’s extremely rare in manga and anime however I chose stories where I think it’s clear that the characters are on the spectrum, or could be. Every autistic character is different, in no way are any of these stories a clear cut example of every autistic person and if there is bad behavior, I’m not excusing it because they are autistic. There are all types of people, including autistic people, and this list is just stating whether or not they fit the diagnosis in my head. (Currently updating descriptions and explanations) List of longest manga series by number of pages (estimate) ▪︎I grew up reading comics📓、novels📚&manga📖 in Thai🇹🇭 because I couldn't read in English yet🇺🇸、so it really helped me understand the story.😊 Although these series are really famous and popular in Japan, but in the west you only kinda hear about them or watched only the anime at best. *if they have an adaptation* There are a lot of great ongoing sport manga but these 10 series are definitely a must read for sport manga fans. I only ranked the manga I've read at least once. First of all, not every movie adaption is good as their original source manga. Also, not every movie in this list is on the level of Rurouni Kenshin, but they are still solid and fun to watch. |
