Propeller Heaven, Wakesei Closet... this manga heavily resembles them, sans horror aspect. It is best described as surreal slice of life with comedy elements.
This manga is following everyday lives of some highschool girls which live in a distant(?) future(?). There's no overarching storyline most of the time, every chapter the manga introduces some absolutely bizarre plot device or event, and the chapter revolves around it, and then it is usually not brought up again. The bizarre thing can be an item, a person, a place an event, anything. The "thing" usually is completely out there to the extreme, and the work frequently becomes completely surreal
...
as a result.
I would not call this a comedy, by the way - while the characters are with somewhat simple personalities fitting for a typical slice of life (with one of the main characters being almost stereotypical friendly, but not incredibly smart character), the manga often has heavy philosophical overtones which actually resembles some of the animes by Mamoru Oshii.
I highly recommend this one, because it is very unusual. The main reason to check it out is dealing with bizarre parts. It is interesting, and it is not quite possible to predict what's going to happen in the next chapter. It is a pity that not a whole lot off chapters have been translated.
7/10 story, 5/10 art, 6/10 character, 7/10 enjoyment, 7/10 overall.
