Although possessing quite different aesthetics, the premise of both series involve the establishment of a contract for the male protagonist to sexually "entertain" the female protagonist. It is intercourse in Velvet Kiss, and it is (initially) voyeurism/exhibitionism in Nozoki Ana.

Mature titles that places rather negative associations with lust. Feelings of jealousy, despair, guilty, and insignificance are prevalently depicted through the characters.

Same mangaka, also about salarymen

Both contains soft-hentai scenes or rather the female protagonist of Velvet Kiss is more proactive, in Velvet Kiss the Male protagonist was forced to be a sex slave/friend because of debt, in addition with the ecchiness per chapter it also have a dramatic taste and little bit development of a love story. Kimi wa Midara is more on love story with a twist of supernatural which causes the female protagonist to losses her self-control (more likely everything, including sex desires) the art is neat, the story is a good. overall it was fun and sure it was interesting. If you're a fan of Ecchi + Romance genres, this two are  read more

Velvet Kiss and Ojou-sama wa Nigedashita are so similar they're almost identical (plot-wise).

The following mature manga feature similar themes such as blackmail and adultery.

Love is not necessarily a straight line and sex does not help, or ... it does? Characters are dealing with their feelings or lack of feelings, with honesty or lack of honesty, and sex is a component of the story. Warning though, Velvet Kiss is almost Hentai and the premise is a bit over-the-top.

In both of these series the protagonist has to befriend or marry someone to pay off their debt.

Have similar love story Male leads is bawdy Heroine its so cute

Both are romances for adults in unconventional situations where the guy is forced to do something to an extent, and the girl is an ojou, although their personalities are very different. I believe those who enjoyed Velvet Kiss will enjoy Toumei Ningen↑↓Kyoutei and vice-versa.

I cried, I rolled back what my life story was like. Love is complicated and teens get caught up in it, Velvet Kiss and Henshin are a gruesome picture of the adult world. I recommend Velvet Kiss if you want to find manga in this genre, You will find out what the hard world of adults is like.

Love stories that are full of misunderstandings, difference in life experiences, and betrayal between the male and female lead. Despite how much they love each other, they often end up hurting each other. Beware that Velvet Kiss is rated much more mature than Kimi no Iru Machi.

Same theme(?), also an h-manga and like velvet kiss, focuses more on the story

Lucky random guy gets involved with ridiculously gorgeous women, there's mature content... you wish it would happen to you in real life...

In order to pay off debt, the Main Character must spend time with a woman. Gradually the women fall in love with the Main Character. Velvet Kiss is more serious and a 1on1 relationship. Ikemasen Ojousama! is drama-less happy harem sex.

the characters look the same, they have they same author, they are both echi/romance/seinen

Beside from the obvious fact that both manga are drawn by chihiro harumi, they are stories of how a white collar office man falls in love with a woman that is jaded with life. Velvet Kiss is a 4-volume long while Yoru wo Tomenaide is a one-shot though.
reportRecommended by bunny1ov3r
Both feature characters who share a relationship primarily driven by lust and desire.

Very mature manga with plenty of sexual scenes.....Borderline Hentai. Although Velvet Kiss is longer and has a better story both are pretty erotic.(A lot Erotic)
