When remembering bits and pieces of a manga that I read years ago, I somehow remember this manga series and I couldn't quite remember the name of. So it took me forever to go through searches until I found it. This is a casual review with some small harsh language aim at only one character basically for her personality. Warning ends here.
Story: 5/10
And when I started rereading some of the chapters, it seem like a typical rom com with a dense protagonist named Takeda. Granted this time he is a middle school student who definitely has not reach puberty and is very similar to an

elementary student boy with a lack of care in the world except hanging out with his friends. The female protagonist, Suwa, is portrayed as a perfect girl who could not have faults, at least in the eyes of all the other students. However, the only one who really treats her as a normal person was the boy who said she was good the way she was despite her being somehow clumsy at times instead of putting her in some kind of pedestal. So the story is pretty basic and they go through everyday kid stuff. However, the problem arises from chapter 3 and onward, when the evil shitty lesbian archetype character, named Tokiwa, is introduced. From there on, the story is like Suwa trying to be closer to Takeda, Takeda is just generally being a nice kid who wants to hang out with Suwa as a friend, and Tokiwa just messing everything that could have been a wholesome relationship between Suwa and Takeda with her selfish yuri fetishistic actions. And also don't forget about Tokiwa treating every male in her vicinity like absolute garbage and sexually imagining Suwa on a pedestal. I think the story might have been rushed towards the end in a cliche manner if I recall correctly. I didn't finish the story the second time around so this is based on my prior complete experience with this series. However, what I realize is it's the negativity of one character is the reason why I even remember this series in the first place. The story would've been just a 6 or a 7 out of 10, but that freakin character keeps ruining the story.
Characters: 3/10
Usually I don't really read or watch stuff with yuri relationship since it's not my thing but what I don't like is when they shove it in a story that didn't need one but make the character as shit as possible. As mentioned earlier, the main characters is the dense kid Takeda, the seemingly perfect yet flawed Suwa, and the one and only evil, selfish, sexually predatory, greedy, sexist, pig, bitch of a yuri girl named Tokiwa. Tokiwa is the definition of how to not write a yuri character and what's worse is that she is introduced so early as chapter 3 just to torture all the readers, especially myself for the rest of the 34/36 chapters. WHY author? WHY?! All the other characters that I can recall are just background characters so they are not special. Despite Tokiwa being Tokiwa, I actually love tomboy characters but Tokiwa is downright the most disrespectful sexist bitch I ever read in a rom com manga. She not even the villain character that is supposed to be written as a crazy evil bitch person but a normal human middle schooler. Tokiwa is the worst character and single-handedly ruined the story and without her, the score here would've been 6/10 since I find it typical but cute. I can see a tiny spark between Suwa and Takeda and I was rooting for Suwa, but Tokiwa keeps ruining everything. She even keeps beating up Takeda for no other reason except her sexism towards all men and her hatred of Suwa getting close to Takeda. She's the reason I remember the series at all but at the same time ruin all potential of me rereading it. Seriously, why did the author think this is a good idea. I remember another sort of simple cute manga about a kid and a shrine girl doing random things like summoning a cannon out of nowhere but it was ruined way too early with the introduction of the same archetype character as Tokiwa. You know what? I will dub that archetype as the one I hated as the Tokiwa archetype. 3/10
Character art: 6/10
Serviceable. Nothing too fancy, nothing too ugly. It's not actually ugly at all. Tokiwa is shaming all tomboy characters that actually look cute or good looking. Even the plainer looking tomboys are getting shamed by Tokiwa being the evil bitch she is.
Background art: 5/10
It's better than a lot of newer rom com manga but older rom com series beat it in terms of background art.
Enjoyment: 2/10
Tokiwa... just because she is in the story that I can't reread this series.
Overall: 4/10
Had potential to give me a chill story but Tokiwa being introduced in chapter 3 was the worst decision the author made in this story. Enough said. Don't read this series unless you are a masochist who likes trash characters who treat the not trash characters like trash and seeing your hope and dreams constantly getting crush by the sadist sexist evil bitch.

I will go straight to the point, I DO NOT recommend this, I repeat, DON’T watch it. I usually review mangas that are worth the effort. This manga is not the case. The only reason I’m reviewing this is to prevent you from wasting your time. The reason not to watch it? Simple, you know the main duo? Y’know, the two most important characters; the characters that are the fu*i*g foundation of the manga. Well, their progress with the relationship goes like this: Chapters 1-3 (progress, seems like a good and promising manga) Chapters 4-35 (there Isn’t any progress, just boring side stories to extend
