More or less short manga reads in my PTR

Here are some of the series that have heavily used a philosophical approach to make readers think about many things. These manga cover topics like metaphysics, ethics, hedonism, stoic and cynicism

The Japan Media Arts Festival is an annual festival held since 1997 by Japan's Agency for Cultural Affairs. The festival begins with an open competition and culminates with the awarding of several prizes and an exhibition.

Manga set largely outside East Asia, but on Earth.

don't expect (all) of them to blow your mind, make you rethink your whole life, or anything like that; some may just make you go "oh, i haven't thought about it that way before!" it's just as simple as that.

also, not necessarily every chapter of each manga was something to meditate on. so don't expect about that either.

also!! "thought-provoking" does not necessarily equal "philosophy".

also, (ah, i'm getting tired of this word), all of those manga have under 15k members, hence why i call them "hidden gems"

anthology = "a collection of artistic works that have a similar form or subject"

there is no common theme or genre for every entry of this stack, but the majority of them are dramas. some are pretty dark as well, so please make sure to check on that before starting them (i think there is a guro one as well so).

as of now the manga here are pretty random, but i plan to sort them a bit after reading more anthologies. until then i it's easier to have them all in one place

Manga that Fujimoto Tatsuki (Chainsaw Man author) mentioned in the Magazine Switch. Could be taken as recommendations.
