They are both slice of life at school. They both have a HEALTHY relationship. The aura is so similar I always mix them up.  

It's similar because it's not like your normal yaoi manga where everything is about sex or forceful love, in it the two main characters show they really love each other, and that is why I think both are similar ^^ 

Similar theme - a delinquent/tough looking seme who keeps people at an arm's distance, and a soft but persistent uke who manages to breaks the walls surrounding the seme. Neither of the seme are assholes, both the uke have distinct personalities. 

The school delinquent, often mistaken for a scary and rough guy, is actually a softie, and he is the way he is due to his family issues. He is also the first to fall in love with a "regular" student at school, and after his feelings are reciprocated, what follows is a very cute love story between two high school boys with vastly different personalities. Bonus: Both the ukes too aren't shy and timid (like uskes generally are) - they're strong, opinionated and feisty in their own ways. 

A delinquent is attracted to a cute boy and initiates the relationship between the two of them 

Both story feature a short tempered school delinquent, who finds himself an unlikely friend in a quiet boy at school - the only one who's seen his good side. Both are super sweet and extremely cute stories of the development of love between the two, and how neither of them just jump into love. 

Lover's Doll has amazing art and a very different plotline. Jealousy, heartbreaking moments, and fluffy scenes are involved; it is ultimately an extremely memorable BL manga, just like Rutta to Kodama. 

Fluffy romance, and a story developing in a environment which unnecessary drama is completely absent. The right amount of eroticism plus extremely cute characters on both mangas create something pleasant to read where the main couples do nothing but love each other. 

Both are about the quiet/shy uke going out with the outgoing/popular seme. Both are very heartwarming romances that just make you feel happy. Nothing dramatic happens, noone gets pinned down and abused, it's just about two guys who fall in love and deal with little life situations as they attend school. Highly recommend both. 

With the school life setting except that in Amasugi Monster there are people with power to transform/assume into animal forms. Riku personality kinda reminds me of Kodama from Rutta to Kodama. They both may look weak outside but really supportive and can act boldly when they want to with their partners. With both Riku and Kodama calm demeanor towards their partners but at some point they can be really desperate. Through both stories there were jealousy, fluff moments and some sexiness~! 

Very similar main couple. Similar feeling overall and follows the same structure. Also has similar themes (discovering your future). 

This is a one way recommendation, first of all. If you like the romance of the main pairing in IS, you should definitely check out Rutta to Kodama because they are extremely similar. Both relationships rely on trust and leaning on each others strengths. They're less sexual and more spiritual and romantic. Both of the submissive characters are similar to one another as well and look the same. 

Both from the same autor, very lighthearted romances with cute characters, perfect lack of angst and lots of sweet moments. 

Both are about a delinquent who changes their ways after they fall in love with a normal guy.
