Terra Formars and Arcahnid has unorthodox ideas involving species that are non-human. However, there's a similarity that both series share - the creatures in their story has insectoid traits. While their settings are different, there is the survival horror theme as the story evolves. The main characters gets into conflicts with a variety of the creatures they encounter while maintaining struggle to survive.

Both manga has some sort of animal/insect type people who battle each-other. Arachnid involves the insect kingdom while killing bites involves animals, and they're both educational of different type of insects/animals. Both are mainly about the girl battling and they're considered real strong, the difference is that in arachnid she is only trying to protect herself and her friends while in killing bites it's some sort of tournament. If you enjoy one, you'll enjoy the other.

Fairly dark stories about young assassins each with their own unique special abilities, Akame takes place in a fantasy setting while Arachnid takes place in "the modern day". Akame also has significantly less gratuitous rape than Arachnid.

Shinigami Alice s similar to arachnid in the way that it's about a girl who is an assassin though in Arachnid she ends up working for the girl later on and doesn't fall in love exactly it does give small hints of yuri here and there.

Arachnid has the same young female protagonist feel to it though Alice, the main character of Arachnid, is a bit more emotional. They Botha have a good beat revealing the under belly of society and the interaction between assassins in public.

Murata Shinya decided to write these two stories in a rather similar manner featuring the main character getting bullied, fighting and being in what you would call a "bizarre situation" just to name a few similarities. They also both feature what can be seen as "insect-humans" which are essentially humans with insect like abilities whether it's wasp abilities, spider abilities or cockroach abilities as well as some physical change which affects them too. With this wacky premise paired alongside similar and somewhat common fanservice and action scenes, it can make for a bizarre and unique experience.

Animal/insect like powers with a touch of awesomeness! Main characters are super strong since the beginning but not overpowered, may seem weak at first (super cool later :P)

Female-lead assassins killing other assassins in a high school setting, and most of the pages are filled with detailed fight sequences.

They both involve a normal girl who is forced into a life of killing.

Why? well because the main character goes through expairence to get stronger and gets smarter to protect their friends and themselves from prehistoric dinosurs (Eden No Ori) or Assasins with insects sense (Arachnid). Only diffrence is that Arachnid mostly takes place in school area and Cage of Eden takes place in an island.

Although Arachnid is Shounen and Kyou kara Hitman is Seinen, they are both about a (relatively) normal person who gets in the way of an assassination and becomes an assassin himself/herself.

Both are fast, action-based mangas which revolves around mainly one characters, but also provides information on the supporting characters. The plot isn't very "deep" with any extreme twists, but there are some dark secrets that the characters have. Jackals is based more on gang-fights, but is mixed with a "fantasy" feeling that is created by the characters' outfits and weapons. The style has a old-fashioned feeling to it, like the setting was in the 1900s when they still used cannons. But, there were also bombs, and very ancient weapons like the katana. It is more of a mix of cultures and times. Arachnid, on the other  read more

+ Both series are unapologetic about plot twists + Both series grow in scope as the plot progresses + Both series feature hyper-detailed artwork when needed + Both series use battles to reimagine previously mundane subjects (like household items and bugs) + Both series employ ecchi as a storytelling device
