Can personally empathise with the deaf young man Tooru, so it was high priority for me to read this manga to see how the writer portray the character. And yes! it's quite easy to become nervous in public and startled also, and to feel very lonely in life. The gentle persistence of the other youth Kazuki was nice, and his attempt to help the deaf man to deal easier with his problem was noble.
To me the explanations were a little skewed. Kazuki's ideas were not how most deaf people think, but rather how hearing people THINK we think. And what would a deaf person
