Well, I finally did it, though I was never actually opposed to it, but I've had more of an interest in hentai lately and one of the tags listed at the website I watched this anime was crossdressing. That always catches my eye, so I thought I'd give it a try.
The story isn't very deep, just as the synopsis said, its about two young teens in a family who take pleasure in sex tormenting or exploring others at their huge mansion and estate, which is infrequently visited by their father. Sometimes they seem naughty innocents: just wanting to have a good time or learn new
...
techniques, but at others can be mildly cruel in meting out their "punishment" to their victim.
What's not listed in the synopis or included in the tags on most of the sites I saw carried the episodes, is that the first one explicitly features bestiality. That wasn't a shock to me, in and of itself, but it was unexpected. And unlike human sexual parts, the animals were not censored. Let's just put it that way. The second episode that I saw was uncensored.
Family of Debauchery has its intended affect, at least it did for me anyway. Definitely a guilty pleasure, but it was at least coherent and the art was comparable to an average "regular" anime, somewhat old school. If you are looking to get hot, the action is regular and varied. I've actually rewatched both episodes.

It was hard to rate this one because I liked the concept but not the result. And there's a list of reasons why, and I'm going to be blunt.
The story had little depth. The emotions portraryed were often uneven or strange and made gay or bi guys seem to be dumb whether they were complete "bags", silly or gutless or that it is necessary to apologize for loving someone of your own gender or its a mistake. The backgrounds of the characters were too brief. Conversely, when they do give some background, such as in the case of Madarame, the reptile guy, what they did
...
tell was so mixed: sometimes sensitive, sometimes a total ass...made no sense (even though, yes I did get the madadurai/non-madadurai aspect) . Or he's abusive to others, the so-called tough guy, then he gets punked out and embarrassed himself and does nothing! I could understand some shaky parts, as far as story goes, but it it too uneven too often throughout.
Yes, this is BL for those who can't have gay sex (m/m) themselves or don't really know about it or who don't care that it is even passably accurate in any way. Foreplay is a definition that should be reserved for hetero sex. Generally we don't need foreplay to want to do the deed. We can get it done and then do it again (especially at the characters ages), so the lamenting of "wait for me next time" is completely stupid and doesn't apply.
That being said, I could get the comical aspects of some of the "sex scenes" but I entirely get tired of yaoi that tiresomely puts forth a guy will only have sex with another if they are raped, and that they like or accept it as normal somewhat or afterwards. And if it wasn't that, the scenes were boring.
Shiro, the regular human, was especially boring to me though I liked the cat spirited guy out of all of them all, Norio. I could see where the idea of the storyline might be intriguingly different but so many ideas or suggestions was too sketchy, moving so quickly point to point: sex, conversations, confrontations: almost total incoherence. Most of the time I was asking myself, why characters were saying or doing a certain thing, because it made no sense! I didn't understand why it had this title either.
A few laughs and cute moments provided by Norio, but as some others have had, nothing special and the frequent misrepresentations of gay love and relationships is totally unacceptable. Many bad messages, and hope no one believes that how gay love is or that its normal like these poor examples. Sex Pistols could have been so much more but was just too flawed in my opinion.

A beautifully androgynous young master, in search of the holy scriptures of Buddha and to deliver a gift to the emperor, has various adventures through the dangers of the countyside on his journey. Along the way, he is provided a disciple as a bodyguard, Son Goku, a mischevious monkey with a love for pennies and always ready with insolent wit or a power staff of protection. He also finds various steamy situations from a few beings entranced by his beauty or who wish to use his body.
I am a yaoi fan, love bishounen, and also like lighter shounen-ai anime and manga as well. As
...
a gay guy, even some of the ones that are suppose to be light-hearted or comedy too often have characters that are too little like real guys, gay, bi or otherwise, from my perspective and experience. So it's hard for me to find them really enjoyable, especially when they are trying to represent supposedly real gays, bis and others. They try too hard, and still don't get it right. Then you have a series like this that is kinda making fun of the gay/bi stereotypes anyway, and it comes off really hilarious. It's fun for pure fun's sake.
Art Style:
The art style is in the classic mode though it aired in 2005. It won't appeal to everyone, especially those usually to the razor-edge cut looking stuff, but since I started watching anime in the 90s, I love it! I love the classic look, and it's done well in this.
Characters & Sound:
The characters were fun, if stereotypical: bishounen vunerable beauty, a cat-quick mysterious warrior who appears and disappears (and sometimes seduces the bishounen) and the fool. You may recognize some references from the DragonballZ series, super saiyens, Goku, etc. but it's not distracting. I wasn't a fan of DBZ, but I didn't mind the tie-ins because they worked well. I'm deaf, so I can't give you indication about sound, sorry!
Enjoyment & Overall:
I completely enjoyed the series, it was fun and laugh out loud often. The story wasn't overly complex though a little average: guy on a quest with lots of trouble along the way, and I like the sexy little yaoi bits throughout. Overall, I gave it an 8. Each episode was just under 10mins, so I would have liked them longer, but for the dramatic comedy style it was effective. You were surprised, made to laugh, moan a little at the sexiness and then you were laughing again!

I flat out love this manga! One of the fewer yaoi manga which addresses some serious issues like sexual molestation and abuse, but which gladly have the young person involved more realistic in that, you do what you have to do to get by sometimes, but you don't tell lies to yourself about "loving" this abuser even if the abuser says the disgustedly sickening crap about loving you. This is more of a realistic story of when a youth is sexually abused, yet also a love story, where there is a satisfying ending also. A bittersweet story of two young men who come together, men
...
from different living situations and relationships, but who find the acceptance and love they crave in each other.
I've always thought its important to write stories like this, to give a view into what some people have to endure and sometimes can break free from and have a true love, but not to glamourise bad situations, or make them into a warped "romance" story between abuser and victim, especially when the ages are adult in authority to child/youth or its incestuous.
The artwork was really beautiful I thought, and the faces more expressive than many. I truly enjoyed reading this one. A powerful story, so bittersweet, with facets of what too many of us have gone through and what we want to break free from after making decisions or getting pulled into a way of life that doesn't satisfy our souls. One of the must-read's of yaoi if you want a serious, powerful theme.

This is a cute one-shot slice of life type yaoi manga. The main character is a young guy whose thoughts you read, which quickly take you into the plot of the story: a natural protector Fujita, tries to help Midori whom he thought was being taken advantage by a stalkerish person on a bus ride. His mistake causes Midori to miss his stop, yet Fujita quickly falls into worshipful love, apologizing in a variety of ways and becomes Midori's willing slave.
Per se, I do get tired of the yaoi manga characters which seem to have to state at some time during the story, "I
...
don't know why he's doing that since he and I are both guys..." yet they let everything sexually happen as if it is an every day thing, yet its supposedly their first time.
It's a nice quickie, the graphics are rather explicit if you do like mild yaoi only, be aware of that, but I think its an enjoyable story for anyone who likes this type of genre.

I know there are fans of this particular theme within a genre, featuring incest as the sole plot, and I would say I have enjoyed some related types stories like "Brother", but this one in particular I greatly disliked. I know this is fiction, and the writer is completely free to write about what they wish, but too many impressionable people read these, even if they are labeled 18+, a lot younger ones read them.
I don't believe any story which glamorises incest, and a forcible situation especially. It's simply criminal, and in this particular story where the writer has the uke warped into believing he
...
is really in love with his brother and this relationship is "o-k", I found it distasteful. Gives the thought that being forced such a situation and then making yourself believe, yes! yes this must be love!? No, thanks. To each his and her own, but this I wouldn't read again, recommend or buy to support the writer.

Like Wild Fangs, the artwork is outstanding if you like the type. It rather reminded me of Wild Rock. The long, lean bodies and sleek hair, the unbelievably beautiful face of Kiri, the man-beast. And the storyline is strong, combined with what one read in the brother manga, Wild Fangs, Kiri's story is both interesting and heart-warming. Just the right amount of angst, no more, this was perfect. A very enjoyable read one won't be sorry for, if you like yaoi, GOOD yaoi, strong stories, good plot and pace, and moderate sex ( no graphic sex, just a romanticised but very definite view of Kiri's
...
and Mikhail's lovemaking). Sweet, wonderful, exciting. A Keeper! (Can't wait to see when they publish more!)

The artwork is really eye-catching at times, great detail, very beautiful and distinct. A dramatic story that really grabs you from the very first pages. I come across this manga by accident, and was so glad I did.
It's a detailed story although the page count isn't high, a lot of info is discussed for a manga and things go on. It is a continuing series, so I will look forward to reading more from this writer.

Hmm, hmm, I must admit this one was hot but maybe because it was so explicit. The stories were short of course, and no need for beginning or end. They were cute, and since they were age same characters, this didn't bother me so much although I wondered do all kids have that much sex? I didn't LOL Hmm, well, the last one I didn't like because of the age difference, college student to 6th grader.

A flash fic by Yamane, two dads, two sons, double the amount of desire. Great artwork and detail as usual, the story isn't deep, but its ok. It's like watching a 30 min. sexy sitcom, no need for advanced beginning or detailed ending. We know what's going to happen. Lots of funny moments, and hot action at the climax peak. You can't go wrong with this one shot if you love yaoi.
