This manga has a very high rating and a lot of reccomendations, but still no review. I shall attempt to explain why I like this manga and recommend it anyone to read it.
This is in my top 5 manga (of any genre), I can reread it many times because it's so entertaining. There must be a new trend among shoujo mangakas to have smart, level headed female leads who always don't just have love on their mind. As most people may know that this is a sequel to Warau Kanoko-sama, but one doesn't have to read it (though I'd recommend to anyways). The manga is

This one also has really great ratings... I think it's quite good so far but I'll have to see what other story we can get from it, still too early to tell.
Basically, Kanoko, who has transferred schools 108 times before entering 10th grade because of her father's job, finally gets to her new high school along with her good friend Tsubaki. Kanoko is a master strategist, quite unlike the typical shoujo girls. She's calculating and has her faults. She's also oblivious that Tsubaki, typical shoujo perfect male lead like Ren, Yoh, Rui, etc, is very much in love with her. ... Aug 27, 2016
Koi dano Ai dano is a wonderful shoujo manga, if I must say. I can't even understand why there is so little reviews about this manga.
This is my first attempt to write a review and I chose this to be my first to write on about. I'm picky when it comes to reading. I read all kinds of manga as long as the story piques my interests. First of all, what I like about it is that this is not your typical shoujo characters. If you think about it, the protagonist - Kanoko - is so amazing that in the long run, you won't care anymore ... story:
The initial plot starts as off with Kanoko planning to revive the newspaper's club just to cause trouble and observe the "war" between the 3 biggest clubs; with the "war" being a main plot point throughout the story. The author knows that it is a ridiculous and exaggerated version of high school so she decides to play into it comedically. And while it is a comedy, the author makes sure to convey real and important lessons and themes brilliantly, without it feeling awkward. art: personally speaking, I love the art style of the author, the art also improved considerably from the prequel. characters: The dynamics between the ... While the manga is not all that original itself, many factors set it apart from your typical shoujo manga.
First: This is a sequel to another manga which had less of a concise storyline but did help shape the characters to who they are and had set the mood for the sequel (which can be considered the "main/real" story). The author did a beautiful job connecting the two stories with the prequel being the "why" to the sequel. Second (also the character review): Being the sequel, the main characters are already well developed and here the characters just develop even more as they realize how, much they changed ... |
