These are both stories about a girl without material wealth falling for a prince whom they are unconventionally "married" to. Both stories have a historical fantasy setting and don't take themselves too seriously. They're both somewhat comedic and dramatic romances whose intent is to make the reader feel good.

Although the settings and era are different, the main concept of the manga is very similar. Both involves the main female character forced to become the lead male's fiancee inorder to pay a debt.

These stories both center on a king who is reputed to be very cruel or difficult but having a good side in private too, making a girl be their consort for political purposes, but they also have feelings for the girl too. These are shoujo fantasies with a fantasy / magical setting. They have a similar tone in the setting and the king's personality both kings have a sort of male tsundere personality.

Similar plot with both main character being poor and they are being hired as a temporary bride for the king. The king in both the mangas eventually falls in love with the main female character :) Also, the king of both manga do have similar characters such as being silly. Lastly, both mangs have the genre of comedy, romance and historical :D

In both mangas, a poor girl is picked up by a rich (royalty in Ookami-heika) person, and must act as their fake wife. Both have similar relationships, as they cannot fall for each other (however, in Ookami-heika, the girl eventually falls for the male, but in Kuro Hakushaku wa Hoshi wo Mederu their relationship has not developed enough). However, in Ookami-heika, there wasn't really a specific reason as to choosing the girl, whereas in Kuro Hakushaku wa Hoshi wo Mederu, she was chosen because she was a dhampir, and the male wants to keep an eye on her.

In both mangas, girls have to act in a fake relationship with a boy that she doesn't love. Both females, do, eventually fall for the boy. Both males also have similar personalities, as they sometimes act like a "wolf king" (in Ookami-heika) or sadist (in Ookami Shoujo). Both males also have another side to them, an act that is put together as somewhat of a princely, or a good and kind act. Both mangas do have their similarities, as in Ookami-heika, it is held place in a historical royalty sort of setting, whereas in Ookami Shoujo, it's a high school everyday life setting.

Both stories have a tough, frugal and hard-working heroine that gets enticed into a job for the opportunity to earn a lot of money... the job? In both cases is being the King/Emperor's temporary consort. Both have it tough against the hardships of palace life, assassins and politics. Difference between girls is one is of a noble family (Saiunkoku) and the other is a commoner (Ookami-heika).

In both mangas, a poor girl must work as a "fake wife" in order to receive money in order to support their family. Both main couples have similar relationship, as the girl eventually falls for the guy, even though their relationship is fake (but in Hadashi de Bara wo Fume, the guy does fall for her). However, both mangas are different in some aspects, as in Hadashi de Bara wo Fume, it is more of a western based story, and there is a crazy psychopath that wants the female main, whereas in Ookami-heika no Hanayome, it's more of traditional (japanese) royalty historical (no psychopath involved).  read more

Both are set in a time when Japan had an absolute monarchy.

Though Ookami-heika no H. does not have the same line of supernatural/fantasy as Ten no Ryuu, they still both have very similar feel and romantic air.

If you like male tsunderes I would suggest Shinagamihime no Saikon and Ookami-heika no Hanayome. The girls are put into quasi marriages with a wealthy nobleman who is reputed to be cruel or evil and who is feared by the people, but who really does that role more for politics and is not really a bad man at heart. The girls also are not afraid of the men in spite of that reputation and that becomes one of the reasons that they get along. The settings are both sort of historical but they are different countries and periods  read more

Both are historical mangas that take place in the palace, and where our leading lady's are employed to work in the inner palace. (In Koukyuu Days as an spy/entertainer of the consorts and the other as a temp-consort) I do enjoy Ookami-Heika no Hanayome, for its cute, but has less dramatic political drama compared to Koukyuu Days. Wolf King our we follow our girl as she adjust to court/pay off her dept for breaking palace furnishings, while in Koukyuu Days our girl is trying help the king unravel a mystery.

Ookami-heika no Hanayome really reminds me of Zettai Heiwa Daisakusen. The characters are really similar and so is the plot (fake unions). Also, the girls react in almost the exact same way when the guys flirt with them. They are also both very funny.

Both males seem mean and have power but also are nice and love the female lead. however the females are both a bit dull and dont realise and both strong in there own ways. in special A the girl believes she has to beat him in something and doesnt realise shes in love with him while in Ookami-heika she doesnt belive she is good enough both are hilariously funny and sweet. if you love the one you love the other

Eiji from Kimi to Scandal is very similar to the wolf king in Ookami-heika no Hanayome as they both have very serious cool sides/personalities as well as the cute innocent ones.
