Both are historical mangas that take place in the palace, and where our leading lady's are employed to work in the inner palace. (In Koukyuu Days as an spy/entertainer of the consorts and the other as a temp-consort)
I do enjoy Ookami-Heika no Hanayome, for its cute, but has less dramatic political drama compared to Koukyuu Days. Wolf King our we follow our girl as she adjust to court/pay off her dept for breaking palace furnishings, while in Koukyuu Days our girl is trying help the king unravel a mystery.
