Context:
For this review, I will be analysing Hatsukoi Limited, a romance manga series. It is by Mizuki Kawashita who is probably most known for being the author of Ichigo 100%. Although I have only read 11 chapters, I felt the need to help users gain a better understanding of what the series truly is. Basically, I want to give this series a nice introduction. Later on, once the series has progressed further, I will re-evaluate my thoughts and edit this review.

Story:
Hatsukoi Limited is an intricate attempt on high school romance. It is on this assertion that we get several love stories happening ... simultaneously. Thus, chapters often focus on specific relationships to limit the obscurity.

In its introductory stages, the series has already created an established foundation in a chain of one-sided love. Some of you may welcome it, some may not. However, I still would encourage those who enjoy romance to give it a go.

Art:
The art is very good. The characters are drawn exceptionally well and the scenery is detailed. The series also boasts a decent amount of fanservice.

Character:
In a general sense, the characters represent an important element of the complex concentration that Hatsukoi Limited brings. They each have their own notion of potential partners and therefore have distinct ways of showing admiration. They're all unique and entertaining in this sense.

Enjoyment:
It started slowly but you'll eventually get used to pace and feel of the series. Initially, you might feel like you're reading a collection of one shots, but as you continue reading, you begin to start enjoying it. Overall, it's a fun read.

Conclusion:
I entitled this review 'A Lovely Complex' because I enjoy the multifaceted connection each story brings. At times, readers may feel overwhelmed by the increasing amount of relationships. However, you have to understand that the series is still in its introductory stages. Although Hatsukoi Limited brought a slow start, it nonetheless sets a stimulating and promising premise.

I really enjoyed Hatsukoi Limited. It surprised me how enjoyable it was. Many compare this manga to Ichigo 100% because they share the same mangaka but personally, I found Hatsukoi Limited much more enjoyable. Though there wasn't much character development I still felt a strange charm and attraction to all the characters unlike in Ichigo 100%. All the characters were introduced and given a nice summary, some more then others. None were left out and I thought that was really nice. When I first saw this manga I thought it would just be a whole bunch of one-shots about school girls falling in love ... over..and over..and over again. Yet, surprisingly, it's nothing really like that. I mean there are school girls, and there's definitely love but all the stories were connected to one another. Not to mention there were stories in guy POVs as well (which I usually enjoy more). Additionally, I found that the characters in this manga were so charming that it didn't take much for me to be attached or label some of them my favorites. And as many readers know, reading about characters you favor is almost always thoroughly enjoyable- which is what it was for me. I couldn't wait to read about my favorite couples and I couldn't wait to cheer for some couples and even, as I must shamefully admit, hope for some couples to fail.

The art in this manga was really well done as well. All the characters were nice to look at and there's really nothing that I can find wrong/bad about the art in this manga. Not to mention, the variety of faces in this manga was quite ranged too. I mean there were plain faced boys, thug like boys, otaku looking boys, handsome boys, and.. well actually all the girls were generally really good-looking.

The whole manga had a very nice feel to it. Nothing to dramatic, nothing too mushy- just a nice light romance comedy about teenage girls and boys learning about the harsh, sweet, and bittersweet thing called love.

I really enjoyed this manga. It was a surprisingly good read. I definitely recommend it to anybody who wants to read a light romantic comedy. And though it seems kind of long, the stories are nicely varied yet all connected to one another, plus keeps you entertained the whole way through. (:

Hatsukoi Limited is another great manga created by Mizuki Kawashita, the same person who created Ichigo 100%. Just like Ichigo 100%, Harsukoi Limited is about high school and junior high school romance but unlike Ichigo 100%, this manga is not centered on a single guy who has multiple love interests and this is what makes this manga better (My Opinion).

Story: As stated earlier, the story does not revolve around a single person or a single couple, instead the story revolves around a large group of boys and girls (around 8 girls and 6 or so guys) that are in some ways related to each other. ... Each character has a someone he or she is interested in but most of the time the person they like also likes a different person which is what ties each character together (Check the first page of chapter 11 there is an illustration regarding who each character is interested in or is interesting to another character).

Ironically the thing I like most about this manga compared to Ichigo 100% is that it only has 32 chapters as opposed to Ichigo 100%'s 167 chapters. Although this means that the series ends quicker, the story is much easier to follow and each chapter has more significance compared to some of Ichigo's chapters.

Art: The artwork was done by the same mangaka who created Ichigo 100% and Lilim Kiss and if you are familiar with taht mangaka, then you should have a very good idea of what this one would look. The characters are very well drawn especially the girls who have such cute facial expressions (Misaki Yamato is hot!). Each character looks unique to one another and are easily identified. The landscapes and background are also very good but the real eye candy is definitely the girls.

Character: There is no single lead character in this manga and in my opinion that is one of the biggest strengths of this series because it shows the story in multiple perspectives and each character has a decent amount of background which helps the reader understand the situation surrounding them. Each character has his/her good points and all are likable and no one in the series annoyed me.

Enjoyment: The series maybe short but the story feels very complete and this makes me feel satisfied yet wanting more at the same time. I enjoyed the story and cast and I hope that the reader has as much fun reading this manga as I did.

Overall: In my opinion, the best manga I've ever read is Slam Dunk and the 2nd and 3rd placers confuse me because I don't know which is better Hatsukoi Limited by Mizuki Kawashita or Suzuka by Kouji Seo, that's how good this manga is. Although the story ends rather quickly, the entertainment value is still top notch.

I personally really like this manga a lot although only one chapter is released so far.
The reason I so attracted to Hatsukoi Limited is because the mangaka itself, Kawashita Mizuki. She is a mangaka who created some popular manga. Ichigo 100% is one of them.Enough with the introduction, I will review it now.
I really like the story a lot. The reason is because it is creative. I have never seen this style before. As in the title itself Hatsukoi Limited (First Love limited), it is about a bunch of girls who meet with their first love. This style is ... never been seen before unlike the other mangas that is about many girls crushed on one guy in same time. So it will focus on many character. And I enjoyed the plot pretty much, too. I don't want to write the spoiler so i just give the hint based on first chapter title,' Beautiful Girl and a Monster'. Pretty interesting, huh?
For the artwork, Kawashita Mizuki use the same style as she used in her other creation. So no much improvement with it. But for some reason, I really like the artwork! Don't worry, if you likes Ichigo 100% style, you will definitely likes this one too!
Ok we will talk about the characters now. Hm...they have many beautiful girls in it (as expected from Kawashita Mizuki). Only one chapter is released so far so I don't know how to describe this. And for the male character, it is pretty interesting. You can find the hint at the title, so I don't want to bother it so much.
The enjoyment? I'm really enjoys it! The main reason is, well, interesting :P. I don't know how to describe this, sorry.
Overall rating is 8 out of 10! This is the first manga of Mizuki Kawashita that I've read and I must say "Sensei you certainly know how to create beautiful love stories" :). That said, I also like the punch line "Have you ever been in love?". Its a light-hearted manga, which throws in some serious shades of real-life too.

Story -8
This manga features 8 short first-love stories of girls from middle and high school, mainly focusing on their relationships with their classmates and family members. Each chapter is focusing on one main girl character. All the stories are connected with each other and eventually lead to a practical and acceptable ending involving ... the whole cast (so don't be fooled by the length of the manga).

Art -8
The characters are well-drawn, especially the girls. You can easily
identify the cute looking ones like Chikura and the awesome beauties (hotties to be exact) like Enamoto & Misaki. Even the guys have their uniqueness, we have boy-next-door guys like Mamoru, to dumb-looking guys such as "kappa-faced" Kosuda and Sogabe to handsome-looking ones like Renjou senpai. Because the story is character-oriented, it helps each character to self-identify itself.

Character -8
What can I say, its a harem, so there's no one particular lead here. But I guess the author managed to balance all the characters admirably. The scenario around every character is well-built and even if the center plot focuses on the girls as lead, still the male characters also got fair enough character length in the script. The author has very beautifully shown the good/bad points of every character, so you can relate to them as well.

Enjoyment - 8
Its w well balanced romance-comedy manga. My personal favorites are the bittersweet moments between Kosuda and Enamoto. I consider them the most opposite couple of the whole lot. Other character stories are also enjoyable, and even if its a short manga, I will not consider it incomplete.

Overall- 8
I'll recommend this manga to those who haven't seen the anime as well as to the ones who crave to read a light romance book. Of course, I enjoyed the anime more than the manga, but the manga gives us a follow-up story for what happened after episode 12. There are some extra stories also (that is if you are interested). But overall its worth a read!

Content/Story:
Fit the title and theme perfectly. First Love (Hatsukoi).
This might be confusing in first 10~15 chapter or so due to lack of "introducing the character part", but it'll coming together at the end. And it's really beautiful.

Art:
Basically an upgrade version of Ichigo 100%, you can see the similarity of some of the characters from Ichigo 100% and this manga.

Character:
As I said before, in this manga you'll find about 5~7 "couples" who felt their "first love". and they behave (in my opinion) perfectly as some people who actually felt "first love". You'll find some couple annoying, gullible, innocent, etc. Just like what you may had experience ... or saw in your real life.

Enjoyment:
It's basically comedy, so yeah. and because it could be confusing for "first timer" reader, you'll find more "enjoyment" during your "re-reading" part.

Overall:
I'm just gonna quote what the author narrate at the end (and I think it's not really a spoiler):

"Things don't always go as well as you might like...
There are times when things might not work out at all...
But the first time you feel those precious emotion...
I'm sure there's something that you have to treasure...
and every single of those feelings leads us a bit further onward, toward the future...
ARE YOU IN LOVE?"

Those words I think, describe the manga perfectly.

Being a guy who doesn't like romance manga, I was surprised at how much I liked this. Though it's not one of my favourites, but I still enjoy this series.
From the author of Ichigo 100%, this manga has little fanservice compared to her other work, and seemed to be more focused on the interactions of the character, which is probably why I liked this series due to my dislike of constant fanservice used to enhance plot in most romance manga nowadays.
The artwork is impressive at to be expected from Mizuki Kawashita fans and the I found myself intrigued by the extensive range of ... characters personalities and their interactions with one another.
Only about 4 volumes long, this is a short, enjoyable read that I think romance fans will enjoy

In the story of First Love we talk about loving in the classroom, of reciprocated and unrequited loves, of what fills the heart with joy and what makes us despair, sensations that each of us has experienced with our first love. Boys and girls discovering love that they had never felt until recently from which they will unleash all kinds of misunderstandings, absurd and absurd situations.
Overall I liked it enough, in the context of the story, but I liked it more in the graphics sector with excellent drawings and with an Ecchi that doesn't clash.
Personally I think it's a sufficient work, not the author's best ... story.
I give a 6 to the story while an 8.5 to the drawing
