In both manga the story revolves around a girl who lost her family and is protected by a boy, who takes care of her. The girl is strong-minded and is trying to solve her and her friends problems and the guy hides some secrets from the girl, but protects her.

A girl who has a supernatural ability to see dark shadows on people. In Kimi ga Uso wo Tsuita, she sees shadows whenever somebody lies, and in Fantasm she sees monsters/shadows when someone has negative emotions (angry, jealous, etc.) Fantasm is more focused on the supernatural part, while KgUwT is more focused on relationships. Also, both cases have a girl who has been abandoned by her parents, and her brother becomes her guardian, although while KgUwT there actually IS a relationship between the two of them, in Fantasm it is only hinted that the brother has a sister complex

Both stories center around a girl who's able to tell when people are lying to her. The main difference is that in Watashi the protagonist can tell what a person lying is actually thinking, unlike in Kimi, as well as Kimi is more romantic.

The only real simialrity to Kimi ga Uso Wo Tsuita and LIFE is the subject in lying, and the drama that follows it.
