Hi, I read the manga Umineko No Naku Koro Ni but can you tell me if it is worth reading? I have just read your review, but I'd like you to tell me.
Since I don't read visual novels and most people say the anime is bad (and I kind of understand them, I have watched it but haven't finished it) I want to know if I should keep reading it. I ask this because I like the plot.

From what I read in many other sites yea, I agree with Miko being characterized better here than in her previous incarnations. And also the fact that Crybaby actually managed to adapt all parts of the manga, unlike the 70s anime series.

Can you elaborate more on why you didn't like the way Ryo and Sirene were depicted in Crybaby? Though what got me curious is how Crybaby's Ryo was in many ways better or worse than he was in the manga.
