Let me get this straight first- i usually dont read josei romance manga. What the hell, I generally only like manga that has a bunch of random crap . . . so when I found myself captivated by manga, I surprised myself. However, now that I've finished reading Gold, I don't see why I was so surprised. In fact, I should be ashamed of assuming that all romance manga were cliche and crappy. This was a pretty decent manga with a pretty decent story line. It has enough drama to keep you interested and will make you want to finish it. With that being said most of it was pretty predictable.

If you are interested in reading a manga about two people who are determined to be together through various obstacles caused by pretty much the same character repeatedly, this will be for you. This story has to do a lot with starting from the bottom, making it to the top, losing it all and trying to get it back. Along with characters finding who they are and ...

Mixed Feelings
"Gold is better than Silver" the saying goes, well not in this case.
I came across Gold because the art was done by Kazuko Fujita whose art I adore. So first off, when I started reading, I thought the drama meter is pretty much the same as in manga "Silver." Oh, boy was I wrong.
