[Spoiler Review!]
Glad to see there aren't any reviews for this manga yet. It allows me to share how horrible this manga is without a ton of reviews by people who were fooled into believing this manga any deep meaning.
Story: 1/10
I'll keep it short and sweet. Yoshiyuki lost his dad and the love of his life. He decides to work at a host club because he has nothing better to do, like go achieve a proper education or work a respectable job. He encounters tragic events that try to make you feel sad for him and the "characters" these events happen to. Yoshiyuki and everyone
...
end up big sad. The end.
There is no substance to the story, just like everything else this series has to offer. The one thing that is different from the story in this manga from the rest in the series is that the story manages to be EVEN MORE SHALLOW THAN THE REST. How is that possible? Beats me.
Art: 4/10
Standard shoujo art style. Not good, not bad. However, in this installment of the series, the characters manage to all look the same.
Character: 1/10
Yoshiyuki. That is the only character you will even care about in this manga, and the only reason you will care about him is that he is basically always present. He has no character and manages to be even more shallow than Ayu and Reina from the previous manga.
One "character" you can maybe make an argument for being a character is Reina's daughter, Ayu. However, her existence is solely meant to input more tragedy into this manga and nothing else.
I genuinely was wondering who some of the "characters" other than Yoshiyuki even were when I kept seeing them reappearing. They just pop up to serve a certain point on a few pages and then disappear. Also, the one-off "characters" are just unnecessarily evil just to input a bit more of that YUMMY TRAGEDY into the manga.
Enjoyment: 1/10
I couldn't even laugh at how bad this was. My only enjoyment was the end of this manga, but I'm still dreading how I am about to read the last installment in the series right after this review.
Overall: 1/10
Overall, don't waste your time on this manga. It manages to be worse than all the previous installments in the series, and the tragic events they use to try and evoke pity fall flat because the "characters" these events happen to are just human-shaped character tropes with names.
