This is an amazing series, not too slow, nor fast but extremely sweet and heartwarming.

This is a story about 2 female co-workers, who initially dislike each other but gradually grow closer upon understanding and various encounters.

Story:9
The story is excellent. Over 5 chapters, one can explicitly feel the gradual change between the 2 women's relationship and the decisions made. Although this is a Shoujo Ai series, the story progresses in a way that the reader would be able to understand the feelings that were awakened. It is laden with explanations and deep thoughts, although the ending could end being a little more solid.

The story seems ... to be rushed towards the end, and some needed explanations were excluded, which was a shame. A sequel would fit nicely :D.

Art was crisp, clear and absolutely lovely.

Character:8
There were 3 main characters, and within 5 chapters, several issues with the 3 main characters were dealt with excellently.
Character development: Hotei-san, Ebisu-san and Ebisu's sisters were developed nicely, especially the later 2.
Character interaction: A little confusing between some interations between Hotei-san and Ebisu's sister, but others were good.
Character relationship: Nicely done

I enjoyed this series from the first chapter. It kept me captivated till the end... amazing given that I usually do not favour much of shoujo ai and yuri series since usually, the feelings are not explained properly. Same goes for some harem, yaoi etc. series.

I read some of Satou Nanki's other works too, and I love his/her style of presenting the story. Guess I will read other works by him/her now :D.

A light read, given it has only 5 chapters, but not a shred of time wasted reading this. Highly recommended.

This'll be quick, I'm more explaining my rating than anything else.

The story here is solid but nothing too outstanding. It follows the arc of the genre pretty closely, without any major unexpected turns. But I do appreciate that we have a story about people in a more adult environment; it's nice to get (somewhat!) more mature characters than the usual high-school folks, so I'll avoid docking points for following type. The presence of certain other more grown-up plot elements (one small and one large) also helps set it apart from the teen-wangst competition.

The real selling point here is the artwork, which is generally outstanding. I ... want to be able to draw with this much skill. There's a little bit of same-face syndrome, but I'll forgive it when the faces are so well-realized, with such beautiful fluid width changes to the main lines. And there is truly wonderful stuff going on here with framing of panels, use (and elision) of backgrounds, and most of all choice of angle. We get low shots, high shots, dynamic movement from our characters, all to great artistic effect--it's a primer for any aspiring cartoonist. These are the kinds of details that create mood and sell the emotional weight of the scenes, which does a lot to elevate a fairly conventional yuri story.

Characters are generally good, certainly likeable, but a little cliche. Oh look, a tsundere. But she's going for a woman this time! (I'm not spoiler-tagging this, it's a yuri comic, what did you think was going to happen?) The principal antagonist is also surprising and interesting, and pretty well-sketched, if under-developed.

I would have liked to see maybe another half a chapter.

All in all, a solid read if you've already read the stuff I rated higher.

To me this manga fell flat, as in, I get it was kinda an old style, but just the art wasn't anything sharp or clean, if anything it was confusing and overly soft. For the development of characters, I would say it's one of the title's strenghts, and it still fell short, as it tried to be realist about something yet was too fluffy at it ?
The story was indeed gradual, like said someone in the forum, which is a good point, I can see the structuring effectively. Besides it had a plot thoughtout, just it was too subtle for me I guess.
So as it ... may suits your taste, perhaps we're not used to it in modern manga, hence my rating is kinda low, but for an aware reader, you may try.

I honestly think this Is an awesome little gem. I can easily see this having an hour long or so anime adaptation.

The characters are likable. I do kind of like the relationships. Characters work well with each other. The two MC's are nice and you can't help but want them to be together.

I also very much like the little girl that Is one of the MC's Niece.

The Older Sister I feel Is the weakest character. I do feel a lot more could've been done with her. I feel she got the least amount of work on her character.

I like that It ends with ... one of them being an office worker while the other willing to give up her carer and be a House-Wife.

I do wish we got more. I think it'd be nice seeing the characters interacting after the romantic relationship. Going through the awkward phrase and finally getting used to each other. The MC getting used to being a House-Wife and the other MC getting used to not having to rush her work.

The art Is nice In it's own way. The character designs are kind of an adorable design and also at times have a sex appeal to them.

I also like that this Is a Yuri story that has one of them not all willing to accept they like girls. Normally I see In Yuri stories where they don't even question It

Overall I think this Is an awesome story that I really wish we got more of.
