If you are a shoujo lover and are looking for a really different type of Christmas story to read during the season while you are on break read Yoroshiku Master.
It's a sweet shoujo fantasy about a reindeer guy and his santa girl. It's really not like other Christmas stories as there are multiple santa and reindeer teams in it and this Santa is a girl. It's not like traditional Christmas stories but it's full of a special type of magic.

Kuromi is a 17 year old girl who bumps into a guy on the street and is bonded ... to him as now she is a santa and he shape shifts into her reindeer. Kaito the reindeer is a handsome guy and you will just love this cute couple. They get into a lot of odd situations and hijinks together which are a lot of fun. So this is not any deep profound story - it's just pure fun and comedy.

The art is really nice romantic shoujo art with really handsome bishie guys.

It also includes other stories about a Vampire guy and a little girl called Sweet After Bites/ Sweet Lunacy which is really cute. There are also some tales of reindeers gone bad, black reindeers who did not do their job right but these handsome devils are really interesting addition to the story. Problems with the story are that they are 17 for three years... ( 3 Christmases so 3 years ).

Yoroshiku Master is one of my favorite mangas that I don't include on my list but I've read it about 3 or 4 times. I first read it 3 or 4 years ago and have re-read it during the Christmas season each year. Its one of the few mangas that I really love to read over and over, it's like a yearly Christmas treat for me. Enjoy!

Sweet Rein is the story about Santa Claus and his reindeer. The FMC being the Santa Claus of course. The reindeer isn't just an animal but a boy with who is servitude of the Santa, meaning anything the Santa Claus says regardless of how far they are from each other. So you have a master slave relationship in a form of Santa Claus and reindeer. Also the reindeer can transform at Santa Claus's request to either a reindeer or a highschool boy.

Most of the series is actually either set in christmas or a beach episode (oddly). So the series actually has these big time skips ... per chapter. They essentially spend i believe 2 Christmases. Maybe 3 im not sure. Point is the series isn't all that memorable. Its short and fun when you read it but their is practically nothing fancy about this series. In a sense it reminds me Ao haru ride but even Ao haru ride had good character development and something unique to it. In here its christmas... or a beach episode.

I liked the MMC tbh. He was the forward and kind type. He had good chemistry with the FMC. The rest of the cast was also fine. The black Santa Claus (racism i know), did the sterotypical bad but not that bad kinda stuff. There was some weak love triangle near at the end as well.

The romance was nice but the problem lies in the ending. Its not good. Like i guess its obvious you know. But its still dissapointing how the author decided to leave a relative open end instead.

TLDR: It was decent and fun till the ending. Quite sad too. The oneshots that came with it weren't much better either. 5/10
