When I read Tropical Citron, I wasn't aware it was created by the same person who did Becchin to Mandara. However, the similarities were striking, and I couldn't help but think of it whilst I was reading Tropical Citron. The humor, art, and absurd storyline are characteristics both of them share. While I much prefer Tropical Citron to Becchin to Mandara, anyone who likes one will most certainly enjoy the other.

Both involve two girls wandering around in a wasteland. That's where the similarities end though. They are complete opposites. Shoujo Shuumatsu Ryokou is nothing more than naive girls exploring their world together. Becchin to Mandara is a total mind screw with zombies and at times is very vulgar and disgusting.

had the same problem, though Gakkougurashi! had lot more plot, art, and more enjoyable for long ride, as it is still ongoing while i am made this recommendation.

Insane main character dealing with a fistful of personal problems, their annoying friend and hordes of zombies.
