Pretty much all you need to know is that this is a slasher. Normally you'd call this a slasher-horror, but this one is just a slasher.
Most of the work is focused on gore, violence, dismemberment and body parts flying around, at the same time the characters are fairly well drown, with obvious focus on drawing pretty girls when possible. The story is technically there, but it doesn't make sense, and character aren't realistically portrayed or developed.
Meanwhile this is quite different from other works which focus on heavy violence (as in Pumpkin Night, Kichikujima or Children - by the way, I do NOT recommend reading
...
those), because those typically try to shock, but here, it looks like the author didn't care about shocks, just wanted to send as many body parts flying as possible. It sorta reminds me of Peter Jackson's "Braindead", except Braindead had much better script.
Story: 3/10.
Generally poorly done, as the focus of the series is violence. Characters and events are throwaways to have another villain or monster or character appear (and probably get slaughtered). There's a mix of episodic chapters and few long arcs, but it is still all about slaughtering in the end.
Art: 6/10.
I would say the author is onto something. The art has passing resemblance to works by Suehiro Marou ("Inugami Expert") and also occasionally has minor old-school vibes. Lines are fluid, but everybody pretty much looks like they have a bit of "mascara" and small pupils, giving many characters "evil" look. It also resembles " Yamato Nadeshiko Shichihenge" somewhat. So I'd say it is fairly well done.
Character: 3/10.
Poor characterization, unrealistic behavior, many people quickly go crazy and start acting berserk at a drop of a hat.
Enjoyment: 4/10.
Not really good. The art is nice, but lacking story and poor characterization kills the experience.
Overall: 4/10.
Not good. Might be interesting to people who want to see some flashy artwork and monstrous characters, and do not care much about the story quality.
