Trigun and Eat-Man are quite similar. A man who seems to have lived for a long time is wandering the planet interacting with it's people. Then sometime in the middle of the story he must go and defeat the main antagonist.

A wandering mystical being, exploring weird places. It’s pretty much the same manga, but due to how great they are worth reading over and over.

A lonely explorer in the desert. Desert Punk is pretty much a gritty version of Eat Man, where the MC isn’t actually overpowered and isn’t always a good person. Actually both two are episodical the first few volumes until the story starts for real.

Episodic stories in which a man comes across as a greedy jerk but has good intentions and a kind nature. They're each very well written and are lots of fun.

A mysterious person who travels around their unique world meeting interesting people and helping them. Both are highly enjoyable to read and have interesting stories with intriguing characters that you feel for as they struggle to survive.

They both have Immortals with mysterious pasts. But, unlike Bolt, Rain constantly shows emotions and is mostly a goof-off through the series.
