Historically we have legends of travel to fae realms like tir na nog, we have japanese folk tales of being transported to the sea kingdom, we have famous literature like The Wizard of Oz and Alice in Wonderland. ![]() ![]() I tried to compile an extensive list of the English Licensed Shojo and Josei manga titles where romance is a sub-plot at best, if present at all (many of these don't have any romance present). ![]() ![]() This is a list of the Shojo and Josei manga with sci-fi elements licensed in english. Some lean more into the hard sci-fi elements than others, but whether it be aliens, mecha, robots, a futuristic world, futuristic steampunk, or space they will be included. Some "hide" their sci-fi elements or treat them similar to magic, so keep that in mind. |
