Well, let me start by confessing that fact that I’ve only read the first volume. Not out of a lack of interest, but out of a lack of access. I’m still trying to either hunt down the others or save money and get them shipped.
I love what I’ve seen so far though. The mangaka seems to be trying to provide an unbiased view on things like sexual harassment, drugs, and suicide. The cold, brutal, truth, so to speak. None of that Moral Ed stuff where they practically brainwash you and tell you exactly what to do in what situation, but the things that really happen

I guess that this Manga is abit unknown. Such a shame, because it's a very nice Manga. It will mostly attrect girls, because it is written in their point of view. Drugs, Sexual Harassment, this Manga will show you it can happen anywhere, any time and any place, but that it can also happen to you. This makes it realistic and pulls you into the story that is written on an interesting way. You should really try reading one(: I can recomment volume 2 and 3.

This is something every teenage girl should read.
It gives you a look at what's going on under our very noses without us realizing it until it's too late. This has made me realize that some things that seem trivial to other people can be a huge deal to the person on the receiving end. It kills me to think that police disregard people who come to them with issues like stalking and rape and don't do a damn thing about it until the person is in a life or death situation. If any teenage girls are going to read a single series of manga this should be it. Confidential Confessions is amazing and I give major kudos the the author because these are issues that need to be talked about and if they can be put out into the open in a convenient way it's even more amazing.
CC is not for the light of heart. This stuff is very dark and dramatic and will tug at your heartstrings. From drugs to rape and other types of abuse, these stories really show what goes on and how people should and should not deal with them. Confidential Confessions will ... |
