Our big bad boss monster of the unattainable dungeon, Mr. Swallow, is just your average lazy bum. He loves his sleep (just like a certain dragon with a chef that we know of.) He loves his sleep SO much that his gate keepers have to manage house for him. They replace workers, upkeep traps, and accomplish tasks for whatever else needs to be done to keep things running smoothly. Due to this interesting power dynamic, the big bad boss will walk on egg shells to keep his gate keepers from quitting on him.

I hate that I kind of enjoy this series. The main character is a sort of kuudere. What is that you may ask? “ Kuudere is a term for a character who appears calm and unemotional most of the time, but becomes cute and loving around their love interest. They don't talk much and have a cold uninterested attitude towards people who are not their love interest.
